Founded in Hawaii in 1979 Dakine produced the first surfboard leash that could tow a car. They then went on to produce a vast range of backpacks, accessories, outerwear and clothing for people who love to surf, ski, snowboard, skateboard, kite board, windsurf and travel. In 2009 Billabong acquired the Dakine brand and then sold it onto Altamont Capital Partners in 2013. From here it has gone from strength to strength and has cemented itself as an industry leader of technical ski pack products. Dakine’s style boasts an edgy product line and all products are built for adventure and have a very competitive price point.

Their glove range is extensive and has something for everyone, from toddler mitts to adult gloves. For the people that really feel the cold the wool lining and primaloft insulation provides extra warmth. With many of their customers needing to travel to reach the mountains, Dakine built the luggage range which consists of boot bags, snowboard and ski bags, and backpacks.
