Snowcentral, is an Australian owned and operated family business, whose online presence is represented by www.snowcentral.com.au. The Bishop family built what started as a small ski-gear second-hand boutique - sixteen years ago - into one of the biggest ski & snowboard retailers travel in Australia. Our main target market is South East Queensland (yet we are famous throughout QLD, NSW and even VIC). Which, for many who know this sub-tropical region, would think is strange as the closest snow is nearly a 24 hour drive. It is however, a huge market; there is and always will be a want for people to escape to the southern resorts and New Zealand during June to October and a growing number of skiers and boarders migrating North to Canada, Japan and the USA, from November to May; so we are always busy! Our staff have travelled far and wide to gather vast amounts of experience, which we now bring to you. From New Zealand and Australia to Europe, Canada, the USA, Japan and more, we have worked our way into all corners of the snowsports industry world, achieving professional levels of customer service and product knowledge. Our teams working in the departments of bootfitting, equipment tuning, retail, rental and travel can match any need or concern you may have while taking the time to get to know you on a more personal level so we can access your needs even more closely.
